Durness Dreams

The rugged landscape of the coast road in the highlands of Scotland inspired this piece. The rock, which forms the base, was found in the beautiful region of Durness. The inclement weather in the region inspired me to create a piece that depicts a tree in full bloom and yet seemingly almost clinging to life. Indian agate and watermelon tourmaline give soft hues of pinks and greens and along with the Reiki could aid in calming emotions, healing wounds and reducing stress and anxiety. An ideal gift for anyone suffering a turbulent time.
