Natural Drift

Working with a natural tree root is a new aspect of my sculpting. The real root gives the perfect start twisting the wire and creating a new tree. The darkness of this root goes perfectly with the bright copper wire entwined around its many stems and rising up to create new branches. I wanted to give this piece a baren, wintery feel with bare crooked branches. Despite the wintery look the finished tree has a warm feel and is charged with Reiki as with all my work.
